Coronavirus Updates

Dear Dance Family:

We hope everything is going well with you and your families, and you’re staying safe and healthy during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We at Anastassia Ballroom & Dance are making it a point to stay safe and healthy for both ourselves and for our students. Our studio is still open and we are taking precautionary measures to ensure the protection and wellbeing of our community.

Our students’ wellbeing is our first and foremost priority. We are taking the following steps to address the spread of the coronavirus and its impact on our dance community.

Health Safety

  • Everyday our employees practice good hygiene and disinfection standards in accordance with guidelines recommended by the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We wash our hands thoroughly before and after each lesson, using antiseptic solutions, and wear disposable gloves.
  • We have made changes to our cleaning routine so more time is spent disinfecting surfaces which are frequently touched. Before and after each lesson we wipe all surfaces, especially door handles, dance bars, bathrooms, sinks, and sink faucets with CDC-compliant disinfectant spray.
  • We have alcohol-based hand sanitizer, rubbing alcohol, vitamins, immune system boosters and disposable gloves available for use by all our guests. Starting on Monday, March 23rd, we will provide facemasks for use by all our students as an additional preventative method.

Dance Classes

In accordance with CDC and White House guidelines, we are postponing all our group classes for two weeks. We will continue to instruct private lessons. For those who wish to have some fun during self-quarantine, we can provide home-based dance lessons as well as virtual dance lessons.

All our monthly parties will be rescheduled until after May 9th. We are monitoring government sites for all related COVID-19 updates. We will adjust our preventative actions as required.

Thank you for your support. We hope you are staying safe and healthy. We all share in the concern and responsibility to reduce our own health risks and those of others. We look forward to everyone making it through this temporary situation healthy, happy, and dancing even better than they were before!

Sincerely,
Anastassia
